Fractional Tools Privacy Policy

Fractioal Tools, LLC (“fractional”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) owns and operates fractional.tools (“the Site”, “the Service”, "the solution"). This page provides information to inform you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of our Site and Service.

Your Personal Information is only used for the purpose of providing Service and improving our Site. By using fractional.tools, you agree to the collection and use of any information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service, accessible at fractional.tools/terms.

Fractional Tools Solutions shall mean the solutions and services that are used by you pursuant to the applicable agreement, which may notably include Fractional for Google Calendar and/or CalendarTimeTracker, including any update or replacement thereof and technical support provided by Fractional to you from time to time.

Personal Information

While using the Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, occupation, time zone, and industry (“Personal Information”).

The Site and Service processes your personal information in the United States and other countries. We may process your personal information on a server located outside the country where you live. In addition, we need to give certain data to 3rd party service providers in order to offer the Service. This includes hosting (Firebase, HotJar) and analytics (Google).

Google Calendar Data

We need to access your Google Calendar data in order to gather the ID of your event and store content created by the user (labels and categories) about the event in our database. When pulling an export of the calendar, your calendar data will be processed by our infrastructure as necessary to generate a spreadsheet. The Service uses the official Google Calendar API to access your calendar data and can access the data according to the Gmail or G Suite permissions of the Google user used with the Service. You can revoke access for the Service to your calendar data at any time in the Google account security settings.

Permissions needed for Fractional Tools

When you use Fractional for the first time, you'll be asked to accept the minimum-required permissions. Google API Scopes include:

Why we need those permissions

Fractional is integrated with Google Workspace apps like Calendar and Sheets. It requires access to the Google environment to provide services seamlessly across the apps.

Fractional only requests the minimum-required permissions that are essential for it to function optimally.

Fractional does not have access to your Google account or your password.

Fractional's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who can see the data of my spreadsheet?

The spreadsheet created by Fractional is only accessible by you and those you choose to share it.

Review or Revoke Google Permissions

If you need to review the permissions you granted to Fractional, you can do so by going to Google Account -> Third-party apps with account access -> Manage third-party access.

From there, you can change or revoke the permissions.
